In 1989, Keith Haring painted the toilets at The NYC LGBT Community Center with a symbolic fresco. Its name? Once Upon a Time. This work celebrated the 20th anniversary of the riots that followed a homophobic police raid at Stonewall, a New York bar. It was the beginning of the gay liberation and LGBTQIA+ rights movement. Reflecting this era, the 2024 Pride edition once again brings these two institutions together. Iconic.
Celebrating, together. Protesting, side by side. Constantly supporting each other The House of Jean Paul Gautier has always been an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and is proud to support these associations.
